LIONEL 1939 CONSUMER CATALOG
This is the last catalog to contain all three gauges produced by Lionel; "Standard", "O", and "OO." Of course, "O" Gauge came in three varieties, "O" itself with a 31" diameter circle, "027" with a 27" circle, and "O72" with a 72" circle. This catalog is my personal favorite of all those produced by the Lionel Corporation.
The two pages of this catalog that are shown below depict one set on each page that are in my collection. The first, on page 17 is Set #151W headed by a 225E is shown here:

Here's a picture of my oldest brother Art enjoying the set which he received as a Christmas present in 1940...also the bike that I later on fell from breaking my left arm.
